FIU Palmetum
FIU Palmetum is a botanical garden located in Miami, featuring one of the largest university collections of palm trees in the United States. It began as a reforestation effort after Hurricane Andrew and has grown into a showcase of the great diversity that exists within the palm family. The Palmetum is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is wheelchair accessible, with wheelchair accessible parking. It is also considered good for kids.
