The 19th annual Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) Music Festival has officially concluded, leaving Hard Rock Stadium echoing with the sounds of R&B legends, hip-hop heavyweights, and the unmatched energy of the Miami Gardens community. This year’s festival was more than just a concert: it was a cultural reunion that bridged the gap between the golden era of soul and the vibrant future of modern music.

With a star-studded lineup that featured Jhené Aiko, Ludacris, Nelly, and Ashanti, JITG 2026 proved why it remains the premier destination for Black music in South Florida. The festival also took time to honor International Women’s Day, with powerful performances and tributes throughout the second day.

Saturday Highlights

The first night belonged to the ethereal soul of Jhené Aiko. Her set was a masterclass in atmosphere, featuring a live band with harp and sound bowl healing that placed the audience in a collective trance. Earlier in the day, D-Nice hosted a massive "Club Quarantine" set featuring SWV and Case, turning the stadium into a giant outdoor house party.

Sunday Highlights

The energy shifted toward nostalgia and power on Sunday. The Isley Brothers reminded everyone why they are icons, while Ashanti and Nelly delivered the high-octane chemistry fans have loved since the early 2000s. The festival closed with Ludacris celebrating his 25th anniversary in the game, bringing out surprise guests like Trick Daddy and Trina.
