Miami Workers Center

The Miami Workers Center is a non-profit organization and community center located in Miami. It builds power with working-class tenants, workers, women, and families in Miami-Dade County through leadership development and grassroots campaigns. The center aims to transform workplaces and neighborhoods to secure respect, rights, and resources for everyone. It also offers legal assistance, mental health referrals, gig worker wage compensation, LGBTQ+ Cultural Competency and Sensitivity Training, social gatherings, and educational events for the community. The Miami Workers Center focuses on developing leaders from the grassroots to organize and advance collective action, particularly empowering domestic workers.
