Stephen N Symes, MD, F.A.C.P., is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Miller School of Medicine in Miami. With a medical degree from Howard University (1989) and Internal Medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Medical Center (1992), Dr. Symes specializes in HIV and AIDS. He is known for developing pathways to train future physician leaders in global and domestic health program administration and advocacy, and has served in institutional UME and GME leadership roles.
